National Election Meeting for New Dutch Citizens
On October 16, WeRise is organizing an information session about the Dutch House of Representatives elections. During this session, the organization will explain how the Dutch elections work, how to vote, and why it is important to use your vote. There will also be information about the rules related to voting. In addition, the various election programs of political parties will be discussed, so that participants can get a clearer picture of the choices they can make.
An important part of the program is a debate with Members of Parliament from various political parties. Participants will have the opportunity to listen and to ask questions to the politicians.
The session is especially intended for new Dutch citizens, but everyone with an interest is very welcome.
The event will be held in clear and accessible Dutch, and difficult words or topics can be translated into English or Arabic.
