Observations is a collection of poetry that listens closely to the quiet within, the noise outside and everything in between. with lines that are bold, tender, questioning and sometimes defiant, these poems trace the shape of identity, love, injustice and longing. This book is the result of a decade's worth of living, observing, taking notes on life and making art with words.
Touba Bouchl is a writer, educator and creative mind based in The Hague. With a background in English Literature, Linguistics and education, she moves between language and life with curiosity and care. Her work explores identity, voice and the poetry hidden in the everyday.
Rachel Rhea is a Canadian pop-soul singer-songwriter based in Amsterdam. Classically trained, she is distinguished by her refined vocal technique, natural stage presence and warmth of her voice. Rachel's soulful music represents her raw yet heartfelt vision of life.
